Most people don't shop for mobility equipment until they have to. It usually starts with a fall, or a diagnosis, or the quiet realization that a parent isn't getting to the mailbox anymore. And then you're online, comparing scooters you've never heard of, at prices that make you nervous, from sites that won't tell you who they are.
So let me tell you who we are.
TrueMobility Direct is a small family business. I'm Jackson. I started it for people who want to keep doing things on their own — the errands, the visits, the walk to the mailbox — without asking anyone for a ride or a hand. And for the families helping them choose, who need to know two things: that it's the right one, and that there's a real person to call if it isn't.
How we stay with you
Before you buy, talk it through with someone who knows the products: tell us about the rider, the home, the car and the budget. We'll tell you what we'd recommend, even when the honest answer is a less expensive model, or no purchase at all.
Before it ships, we call to make sure it fits your needs.
After it arrives, we're still the ones you call. If something goes wrong, tell us right away — we take it up with the manufacturer and file the warranty claim for you.
What we won't do
We won't sell a brand we're not authorized to sell, so you get the full manufacturer warranty.
We won't sell refurbished or open-box. Everything ships brand new, factory-direct.
We won't bill your insurance. We're cash-pay — and if insurance coverage is essential for you, we'll say so honestly and point you toward a Medicare-accredited supplier.
And we won't push. We'd rather lose the sale than waste your time.
If you're not sure where to start, start with a phone call. There's a number at the top of every page, and a real person on the other end of it: (888) 815-6332, 8 AM–8 PM ET, seven days a week. Or ask us to call you.
